Paths for All Active Resources During COVID-19 Outbreak
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Paths for All, a charity that wants to increase the number of people walking every day in Scotland to improve wellbeing and promote good health, on producing a number of resources for keeping active during the current COVID-19 outbreak, including advice on walking during periods of social distancing, keeping active at home and advice and tips for homeworkers; notes that all the resources can be found on the Paths for All website, pathsforall.org.uk, and acknowledges that, if safe to do so, walking outside once a day, as long as an individual is alone or with members of their household, is not only positive for their physical health, but it can help to reduce stress, anxiety and other mental health conditions.
