Stranraer's Gentex Helps to Produce Ventilators to Tackle COVID-19
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Stranraer-based firm, Gentex, on helping to support the fight against COVID-19; welcomes the production of the Pureflo 3000, which is an innovative Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) that provides an all-in-one respiratory, head, face, eye and hearing protection; understands that Gentex has doubled production on its current assembly line; praises the move to increase production to 750 respirators a week; understands that this is part of the wider Ventilator UK Challenge consortium; wishes Gentex’s employees all the best in this challenge, and thanks all companies for helping to support NHS supplies at this time.
