Ayrshire Children’s Gift to Care Homes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Steven Connelly, Co-op Community Member Pioneer for Irvine and Dreghorn, on getting children across North Ayrshire involved in the Sunshine Through Your Letterbox campaign; understands that the children have been sending daily drawings, poems and uplifting messages to brighten up the days of older people and those self-isolating; notes that the campaign was designed to allow people across different communities to engage and support each other during the COVID-19 pandemic; commends Steven and all the children involved for their creativeness, and wishes them all the best for the future.
