That the Parliament welcomes the initiative #GoodNewsScot, a social media campaign from Social Enterprise Scotland, the Social Enterprise Academy, Social Investment Scotland, The Rooftop /Campaign Collective and media co-op to give social enterprise and charity employees the motivational support they need; understands that one hour every day, between 11am and 12pm, is dedicated to positive, solution-based news and inspirational stories; believes that this is particularly important during the outbreak of coronavirus where the media it considers is dominated by negative virus news; recognises the importance of initiatives that provide motivational support and encourage a positive frame of mind, and believes that social media has a positive role to play in promoting inspirational news to help overall mental wellbeing.
