The Generosity of the Klondyke Fishing Company
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the hugely generous £200,000 donation that has been made by the Klondyke Fishing Company of Fraserburgh to the NHS Grampian and Aberdeenshire Health Social Care Partnership to help with the response to COVID-19; notes that the money will provide iPads to hospital patients, so that they can find some comfort in keeping in touch with family and friends when it might otherwise be difficult to do so, community nurses, to help them communicate with colleagues while they carry out their vital work, care homes and people who receive care at home, to help them at a time when many will be feeling isolated and worried, and expresses its gratitude to the Klondyke Fishing Company's Board for its incredible generosity and community spirit.
