Maci's Rainbows Raise £1,000 for Foodbank
The motion
That the Parliament notes the success of 11-year-old Maci Fotheringham from Lochore in raising £1,000 for Benarty Foodbank by painting rainbows; understands that the idea was sparked by a passing police officer who saw her rainbow in a window and offered to exchange it for a donation to the foodbank; notes that Maci has been provided with paint by local people to allow her to continue and understands that there will also be a three-day foodbank collection drive starting on 28 April 2020 across Benarty; praises Maci for all the help that she is giving to the foodbank, and believes that this will be vital for many people at this difficult time.
