Sandy Brown, Landlord of the Blue Lamp
The motion
That the Parliament notes with sadness the passing of Sandy Brown, former landlord of the Aberdeen venue, the Blue Lamp; recognises the contribution that Sandy made to the arts community in the north east of Scotland, and the importance of the Blue Lamp to the development and promotion of music acts from the area, including in the Aberdeenshire East constituency; acknowledges the importance of venues such as the Blue Lamp, and owners and landlords such as Sandy, to the arts and economy in Scotland; offers its condolences to Sandy’s family and friends, and wishes them well.
