Thumbs Up for Your Postie
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the #ThumbsUpForYourPostie initiative, which encourages people to show their appreciation for their local postie by giving them a thumbs up from at least a two-metre safe distance; understands that children are also being encouraged to put "thumbs up" pictures in their front windows; recognises the key role that postmen and women have in keeping people, communities and businesses stay connected through the current crisis, and pays tribute to the thousands of postmen and women working flat out across Scotland during the COVID-19 outbreak.
