Thumbs Up for Your Postie Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the Royal Mail campaign, Thumbs Up for Your Postie, which aims to recognise the hard work being carried out by postal service workers; appreciates that they are doing a very difficult job at this time and that working conditions are bound to be more stressful than normal due to concerns regarding COVID-19; appreciates the work that they are doing, believes that contactless delivery is an important innovation and that Royal Mail workers are essential for the continued functioning of the country; applauds the high quality work of posties throughout Scotland, and hopes that the public will get behind the campaign.
