Edinburgh Couple Making Face Shields for Key Workers
The motion
That the Parliament commends Lynsey and Dougie Reid for making face shields for the NHS and key workers in the Edinburgh area; understands that they have delivered over 400 shields to 35 care homes, and notes that, following a successful crowdfunding appeal, they have been able to purchase a second 3D printer, which has enabled them to increase production and donate to local charities that are supporting vulnerable people during the COVID-19 outbreak.
