Scran Academy Response to COVID-19
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates everyone at the Scran Academy, which is based in North Edinburgh, who, along with a range of partners, have come together during the COVID-19 outbreak to support the community by providing safe, free meals that can be enjoyed at home; understands at these are prepared by the charity's staff and community volunteers, including pupils from Craigroyston Community High School and Leith Academy; notes that people can sign up to receive the service by visiting scranacademy.com, and thanks all involved for ensuring that some of the most vulnerable people receive a tasty home-cooked meal delivered to their door during these difficult times.
