Aberdeen Girl Goes the Extra Mile for the Scottish Ambulance Service
The motion
That the Parliament applauds the fundraising efforts of the Bridge of Don resident, Frankie Tuckwell; acknowledges that the eight-year-old will run 100km over 21 days to raise funds for the Scottish Ambulance Service; understands that she will run just under 5km each day to meet her goal; highlights that she has already raised over £1,200, which far exceeds her initial target of £200; commends her kindhearted initiative to help key workers during her time spent in lockdown, and wishes her every success in her challenge.
