Wishaw Charity Supports People at Risk from COVID-19
The motion
That the Parliament commends the work of the Chest Heart and Stroke community base in Wishaw in providing care and support for some of those most at risk from COVID-19; notes that the charity is calling on the public to help fight the spread of the disease by promoting Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland’s national campaign, Scotland Against Coronavirus, by asking people to sign up to help those who are vulnerable or isolated; acknowledges that those joining the campaign will be provided with social media messages and micro-volunteering opportunities to share, which could include messaging someone who is struggling and on their own or getting in touch with people who need someone to talk to, and thanks the community hub and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland for their ongoing work.
