Coby Taylor Runs 25km Over Five Days for Charity
The motion
That the Parliament applauds nine-year-old Coby Taylor, who is from Clackmannan, on raising more than £500 for a local charity by completing a 5km run every day for five consecutive days; understands that Coby finished his final run on 24 April 2020 and has surpassed his target of raising £100 for the Social Bite charity; notes that he is a member of the Wee County Harriers' Juniors section and was motivated by his desire to "do something good" for others during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that, in 2018, Coby braved the cold by camping in his back garden in a bid to raise a similar sum of money for the organisation, and commends him on his extremely magnanimous work.
