Daisy Lothians Group on Facebook
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Julia Iddir and Kathryn Lawerence from Midlothian who have set up the Daisy Lothians Group Facebook group to help expectant and new mothers navigate this stressful time; understands that Julia and Kathryn are experienced antenatal and postnatal class teachers; further understands that the group has become a reliable source of positive stories about giving birth during the lock-down, featuring weekly topics for discussion, a Zoom call going into these topics in more depth and a Sunday evening guided relaxation; acknowledges that, during this time of great uncertainty when pregnant women can find that their classes are either postponed or cancelled, groups such as this can be a great source of relief, and wishes everyone involved the very best.
