Bus and Coach Worker Support Day
The motion
That the Parliament recognises 5 May 2020 as Bus and Coach Worker Support Day; understands that the Confederation of Passenger Transport Scotland, alongside operators around the UK, has planned this campaign to say thank you to everyone in the bus and coach industries for their work during the COVID-19 outbreak; notes that this includes drivers, engineers, cleaners, transport managers and many more categories of workers behind the scenes who play a crucial role in keeping key services running and supplies moving; believes that this time has been highly challenging for the industry, and records its thanks for all that it has done during this pandemic.
