East Coast in Musselburgh Named One of the UK’s Best Fish and Chip Takeaways
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates everyone at East Coast, which is located on North High Street, Musselburgh, on being named one of the UK’s best fish and chip takeaways by the trade publication, Fry Magazine; understands that the restaurant scored 97% and received particular praise for the haddock in batter, which the judges stated was probably the best they had ever had from a chip shop, the cleanliness of the shop and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff; notes the contribution that the fish and chip shop and restaurant makes to North High Street, and looks forward to the imminent reopening of the business with the development of a click and collect service and online web ordering.
