Babes in the Wood, Stirling
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the vital role of the third sector and community in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic; welcomes the work of Babes in the Woods, in which provides an invaluable service to communities in Stirling by providing low-cost children’s toys, clothing and equipment to families in need; acknowledges that the COVID-19 crisis has affected families particularly hard, and that organisations such as Babes in the Woods are doing stellar work to help some of the most vulnerable in society; warmly welcomes the group's award of £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund, which is continuing to deliver funding and support for a broad range of organisations across Stirling and Scotland, and hopes that it will be able to use this funding to continue to deliver its important work during the current health situation and beyond.
