Motion · S5M-21749 · 14 May 2020
Salvation Army Tranent
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Salvation Army shop in Tranent on receiving almost £1,000 of donations through an online community fundraiser; understands that the fundraiser was started after the shop was broken into and a three-figure sum was stolen from charity boxes and a safe; notes that some of the money will go towards repairing the damage caused by the break-in, and thanks the Tranent community for raising the money.
