National Lottery Funding for Newmains Community Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Newmains Community Trust on receiving £130,026 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that the Trust will use the three-year grant to fund a community development manager to support a programme of activity and volunteering opportunities in Newmains and surrounding areas; acknowledges that this will include delivery of a community support programme focusing on employability, equality and diversity, which will benefit approximately 500 local people, and wishes everyone involved with the organisation all the best going forward.
