National Lottery Funding for Lanarkshire Association for Mental Health
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Lanarkshire Association for Mental Health (LAMH) on receiving £116,252 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that LAMH works across Lanarkshire to support people with, or recovering from, mental illness; notes that this funding will help to provide mental health and wellbeing improvement opportunities in a newly-repurposed community hub in Wishaw; understands that the facility will be a communal space for people with long-term problems, such as anxiety and depression, to access wellbeing information and services and a range of classes; notes the activities will benefit 3,790 people and volunteers, and wishes everyone involved with the project all the very best going forward.
