National Lottery Funding for Forgewood Housing Co-operative Limited
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Forgewood Housing Co-operative Limited on receiving £143,506 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this funding will help the Motherwell-based organisation to enhance and develop a range of community activities within Forgewood Community Centre; notes that the funding will also support the development and training of a local community group, Forgeahead, which will lead on delivering activities for local people; further notes that, over the next five years, the project will support 1,000 people and 50 volunteers living in Forgewood, and wishes everyone involved with the project all the very best going forward.
