Dalkeith Delivers, Supporting Vulnerable People in Midlothian
The motion
That the Parliament congratulate all involved with the Dalkeith Delivers, which is a group of dedicated volunteers that has been making and delivering hot food to vulnerable people in Midlothian during the COVID-19 lockdown; notes that the group was established by Dalkeith and District Community Council, with support from the area's churches, businesses, and has grown from an initial 30 volunteers to 130; understands that the meals are prepared at the Dalkeith Miners' Club, and acknowledges the benefits of receiving home-cooked food during this difficult time.
