National Thank a Teacher Day
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that 20 May 2020 marked National Thank a Teacher Day; understands that this campaign, which was established in 1998, celebrates and acknowledges excellence in education; applauds all teachers and support staff who are making a difference in the lives of children; highlights the extra lengths that educators are going to during the current COVID-19 global health crisis, and celebrates their commitment to ensuring that all children can still receive the support they need while working from home.
