Welcoming Relaunch of Savour the Flavours
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the relaunch of Savour the Flavours in Dumfries and Galloway to promote the local food and drink sector; notes that the original project ran from 2009 to 2013 and ensured a more robust and connected food and drink industry in the region; welcomes that local businesses and Scotland Food and Drink have been involved in the relaunch; praises those involved for taking a collaborative approach in order to rebuild the industry at this time; knows that the passion and creativity of food and drink producers in Dumfries and Galloway will come to the fore; recognises the importance of the sector to rural communities, and wishes the relaunch project every success.
