Newton Stewart Firefighter, David McCreadie
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates David McCreadie, who is a firefighter from Newton Stewart, on his extensive fundraising efforts for the NHS and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Support Fund; understands that David has achieved this by publishing a special calendar that includes pictures of the Newton Stewart area; recognises that his hobby of photography has resulted in him building a blog with over 6,000 followers; praises David for this selfless act during the COVID-19 pandemic; applauds the local printer on waiving its fees for work; understands that David has been a firefighter for 28 years; commends him for his service, and wishes him all the best with his ongoing funding efforts.
