Gorebridge Station in Bloom
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the Adopt a Station scheme that is currently in full bloom at Gorebridge station; notes that the scheme is supported by ScotRail and exists at a number of stations nationally; notes that, at Gorebridge, local businesses and individuals sponsor planters; encourages other volunteers at stations elsewhere to do the same; notes that the volunteers, Cath McGill and Craig Walls, who have been responsible for efforts at Gorebridge, have potted over 1,200 plants, taking 150 litres of water to the station every two days to water them through the summer; thanks them and all other volunteers involved in this scheme for all their efforts, and looks forward to seeing more stations blossom as summer progresses, especially in these dark days of COVID-19.
