COVID-19, A National Day of Mourning and Remembrance
The motion
That the Parliament agrees there should be a National Day of Mourning and Remembrance for all those impacted by COVID-19, including those who have died in care homes, hospitals and in communities; further agrees that this would be a day to mourn all those who have died during lockdown for whom people have been unable to grieve and remember as they might have done, and is united in its gratitude towards all those who have worked tirelessly and compassionately to care for and comfort others during the pandemic.
