Congratulating the Celtic Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work done by the Celtic Foundation and all its staff since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak; understands that, through the charity’s Football For Good Fund, over £500,000 has been granted to support a wide range of organisations in Glasgow, such as foodbanks, NHS charities and groups caring for vulnerable and older people; understands that the Fund is just part of the Foundation’s work and that it has raised over £19 million for worthy causes in Glasgow and abroad since it was formed; congratulates the Celtic Foundation on the work that it is carrying out, and wishes it every success for the future.
