Bishop Toal's 40 Years of Service

That the Parliament congratulates the Right Rev Joseph A Toal, the Bishop of Motherwell, on the 40th anniversary of his ordination; acknowledges that Bishop Toal has widely served the catholic community in a number of diocese over the years, in addition to being a staff member at Blairs College, and the Spiritual Director and Rector of the Royal Scots College; notes he was appointed by Pope Francis as the Bishop of Motherwell in June 2014 having previously served as Bishop of Argyll and the Isles, and wishes him well for the future, especially as churches resume for communal worship and holy mass.
