Leonie Bell, New Director of V&A Dundee
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Leonie Bell on her appointment as the new Director of V&A Dundee; believes that, under Leonie’s leadership, the V&A Dundee will continue to build upon its strong reputation, both in Scotland and abroad, as a major tourist attraction and culture centre in Scotland; notes that her career experience includes previous roles as Strategic Lead for the Future Paisley Partnership at Renfrewshire Council and Programme Director at The Lighthouse in Glasgow; applauds V&A Dundee on its significant contributions to supporting Dundee’s local economy and tourism industry, as well as its role in attracting international attention to the city, and wishes Leonie every success in her new role.
