Aberdeen International Airport Shortlisted at National Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Aberdeen International Airport on being shortlisted for four accolades; notes that the nominations for the 18th Scottish Transport Awards include Airport of the Year, Excellence in Technology & Innovation, Transport Team/Partnership, for its popular Canine Crew, and Excellence in Transport Accessibility, for the special assistance services offered on site; understands that these nominations follow the recent completion of the airport’s £20 million terminal transformation project; acknowledges this particularly pleasing recognition during these challenging times caused by COVID-19, and wishes the airport success at the awards ceremony in September 2020.
