New Partnership Between AREG and OGUK

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of a new partnership between Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) and Oil & Gas UK (OGUK) to reflect their aligned goals of supporting the energy industry to achieve net zero emissions; understands that AREG and OGUK will work closely on low-carbon project opportunities and promote the work of members within their organisations; considers that the agreement demonstrates the close relationship between the oil and gas supply chain and the renewables sector, and believes that this new partnership will enable AREG and OGUK to better support a Just Transition in the North East.
