Aberdeen City’s Health Improvement Fund
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates the funding extended by Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership to 77 community schemes in 2019-20; understands that the partnership’s Health Improvement Fund (HIF) supports initiatives that improve health and wellbeing in communities across Aberdeen; notes that the HIF can award community grants of up to £5,000; further notes that a total of £155,686.47 was shared across the city, with over £29,300 reaching eligible projects in Donside; recognises that the fund has helped to kick-start scores of ventures the length and breadth of Aberdeen, and welcomes its contribution to meeting local needs and bringing communities together.
