Launch of Relax Your Child Online Summit
The motion
That the Parliament marks the launch of the Relax Your Child Online Summit; recognises the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health and wellbeing of children across Scotland; understands that the summit, which runs online from 20 to 24 July 2020, will provide tools, tips and fun activities for parents, carers and teaching staff to support the mental health and wellbeing of children and help them cope in the current environment and beyond; acknowledges that the summit will feature over 30 talks from a wide range of authors, activists and experts on mental health and wellbeing, paediatric psychology, early years and childhood trauma; commends the aims of the summit in support of mental health, and wishes all of the organisers and participants in the initiative every success.
