The motion
That the Parliament condemns the human rights abuses that are reported to be taking place against the Uighur population in China; recognises that reports of forced sterilisation and internment are deeply concerning; supports the call for the UK Government to impose sanctions against China for any such abuses, and its decision to suspend its extradition treaty with Hong Kong, and considers that any suffering that results from reported human rights abuses by the Chinese Government are unacceptable.
