West Lothian College Student Association Featured in a Book Regarding the Bologna Process
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Micole Cochrane, who is the West Lothian College Student Association development officer, on co-authoring a paper with NUS Scotland, Creating Impactful Student Associations, which was included in a book recognising 20 years of the Bologna Process, Bologna Process Beyond 2020: Fundamental values of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA); notes that the paper explores the work of the Developing College Student Associations project in Scotland regarding the benefits of developing strong, effective and sustainable student associations based on the experience of that at West Lothian College; commends the excellent work of Micole and the Association's elected sabbatical officers over the last two years, and further notes that it was the only association featured in the book, which was presented to the 2020 EHEA Ministerial Meeting in Rome.
