Rab Bannon, Unsung Hero
The motion
That the Parliament notes with sadness the passing of the Coatbridge boxing trainer, Rab Bannon, who positively shaped the lives and careers of all those involved with the Barn Boxing Club; acknowledges that he was awarded the BBC Get Inspired Unsung Hero Award in 2015 for his work developing numerous amateur, national and world boxing champions; recognises the esteem and respect with which he was held by his local community, and sends its condolences to his family and friends.
