Inchgarth Community Centre's COVID-19 Support
The motion
That the Parliament commends the work of Inchgarth Community Centre for providing invaluable support to vulnerable people and families during the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that it was awarded a £128,000 COVID-19 relief package in March 2020 and, since then, has helped an around 1,500 people and families; notes that this has included providing important services in areas, including Torry, Garthdee, Broomhill and Kincorth, with support such as the provision of laptops to people in the shielded category; understands that the Centre is still welcoming people coming forward while funds last; encourages anyone who need support to contact its staff and volunteers; passes on its best wishes to Paul O’Connor, the chairman, staff and volunteers, and wishes them all every success for the future.
