34th SPE Aberdeen Offshore Achievement Awards

The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Pale Blue Dot Energy on winning the Energy Transition for Future Generations Award at the 34th SPE Aberdeen Offshore Achievement Awards; recognises that the awards, which are sponsored by TAQA, are the biggest and longest established oil, gas and renewables industry awards for the UK offshore energy sector; understands that the Aberdeenshire firm, Pale Blue Dot, leads the development of Acorn, one of the UK’s first carbon capture and storage projects; notes that the firm was the joint winner in the energy transition for future generations category alongside BP; commends everyone who was nominated for an award this year, and wishes them all further success.
