Peter Hardie, Charity Cycle Tour
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Peter Hardie, who is from Tranent, on completing an A to Z cycling tour of East Lothian to raise money for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity; understands that Peter chose a town, village or tourist attraction to represent one letter of the alphabet and then cycled between them in order; notes that he completed the 137-mile tour in 12 hours and raised over £2,000 for the charity in the process; commends Peter for his kind donation, and wishes him all the best.
