Aberdeen Hospitality Together
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the establishment of the local forum, Aberdeen Hospitality Together; understands that this has been set up to allow both small and large businesses across the city share best practice and work to protect the industry in the longer term; notes that the organisation, already including more than 100 businesses, will start by focusing on the sector’s operating procedures and aligning them with government guidance regarding COVID-19, including the creation of a 10-step assurance scheme for venues to instil customer confidence and lead the way in creating a safe environment in Aberdeen; believes that this co-operative working is vital to ensuring that businesses across the city emerge from the local lockdown in as strong a position as possible, and looks forward to seeing the results of this important contribution in the weeks and months ahead.
