Eddie Gillanders' Contribution to the Royal Northern Agricultural Society

The motion
That the Parliament commends Eddie Gillanders for his time as the Director and Press Officer of the Royal Northern Agricultural Society; recognises that the Society, which was founded in 1843, strives to progress agricultural production and the rural economy in the north east; understands that Eddie, an agricultural journalist and editor with Farm North East ,who also served as President of the Society in 1989-90, has stepped down from the role after dedicating 40 years to it, and wishes him all the best for the future.
