Nina Young's Charity Walk
The motion
That the Parliament commends Nina Young, who is from Gullane, for walking the North Coast 500 to raise money for the Teapot Trust; understands that Nina's parents founded the charity, which provides art therapy sessions for children and young people with chronic conditions, in 2010 following the death of Nina's sister, Verity; notes that Nina began the 500-mile trek in Inverness on 29 July 2020 and is hoping to cover 15 miles per day; understands that she has raised £15,000 so far; thanks Nina for her generous charitable contribution, and wishes her all the best for the remainder of her walk.
