Wishing Joan Brammah a Happy Retirement
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Joan Brammah on her retirement after 24 years as lollipop lady for Glaitness Primary School in Orkney; understands that Joan began as a relief school crossing control officer on 27 May 1996 before taking up the position permanently at the school in 1999; thanks Joan for her many years of outstanding work and dedicated service to the local community, where she has been an encouraging, caring and popular role model for all pupils who have attended the school during this time, and wishes Joan all the best for a long and happy retirement, as well as a very happy 66th birthday.
