150 People Climb Ben Nevis in Memory of Marc Quipp from Fauldhouse
The motion
That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of 150 people from West Lothian who climbed Ben Nevis in memory of Marc Quipp from Fauldhouse who tragically died aged only 20 following three years of living with cancer; understands that his brother, Sean, launched a Just Giving page to help raise funds for the Teenager Cancer Trust, which helped Marc and his family through this difficult time, and that over £30,000 has been raised, and believes that this was an excellent initiative by Sean and everyone involved to remember a young man who was loved by so many people on what would have been his 21st birthday.
