World Cleanup Day

That the Parliament recognises that 19 September 2020 is World Cleanup Day; acknowledges the valuable work of Let’s Do It World in organising and coordinating this globally important green civic action; endorses the five key principles that underpin the environmental work of Let’s Do It World, including cooperation, positivity, leadership, technology and fun; recognises the need for Scotland to play its full part in tackling the global waste crisis, and supports further efforts to bring about more sustainable and environmentally conscious attitudes towards consumption and waste.
