Banchory Pianist Receives Local Community Award

The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Margaret Smith on receiving the Walter Smith Rosebowl, which is awarded every year to those who make a difference to the Banchory community; understands that The Rotary Club of Banchory-Ternan honoured Margaret, a local pianist, with the award for her services to the local Scottish music scene over the last few decades; acknowledges that her name was put forward by three past presidents of the club, and commends Margaret for her contribution to the community.
