The motion

That the Parliament is concerned at reports that workers on the Serco Caledonian Sleeper (SCS) are experiencing work-related fatigue as a result of a lack of berths for rest periods; notes that the RMT has entered into a dispute with the company regarding this; understands that SCS has failed to engage the services of ACAS to attempt to resolve the dispute; is concerned at reports that there are widespread defects in the new SCS rolling stock, and calls on the Scottish Government to intervene and meet with representatives of RMT and SCS to attempt to resolve the dispute and ensure that workers' safety and wellbeing are protected.
