Congratulating James Strang

That the Parliament notes the retirement in summer 2020 of the Parkhead Housing Association Chief Executive, James Strang; acknowledges that James spent his career in the housing sector where he started off as a housing benefit clerk, before becoming a community development Officer in Drumchapel in Glasgow, then moving to housing management in Renfrew and Barrhead, followed by senior posts with Dumbarton and South Lanarkshire Council, before finishing his career at the Parkhead Housing Association; notes that James also served as the Vice President of the Chartered Institute of Housing; congratulates James on a fantastic career spent improving the housing sector in Scotland, and wishes him a long, happy and healthy retirement.
